Plaintiff is a 17 year old Nassau County resident who was a back seat passenger in an open Jeep. The Jeep failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with another car within an intersection. Plaintiff was thrown from the Jeep and sustained a burst fracture at L4. Plaintiff underwent an L-4 laminectomy. Case was litigated to the trial calendar and as jury selection was set to begin, the case settled for $775,000.
